Introducing the Basics of the Business
We have organised an afternoon tea conference at the British Library specifically designed for juniors, interns, students and those that want to learn about the business of animation.

The Business Basics conference will be on the 12th September 25 at the British Library - and tickets will go on sale very shortly. The program will consist of informative speeches, and presentations from experts on Marketing, Production Finance, HR / talent search, commissioners and a special keynote. The afternoon tea will be from 1pm to 5pm and you will even get some cake.

Production Finance Basics - 30 Minutes
( How do you raise money for animation? )
We explore all avenues of funding for a production from [TBC] who have been raising finance for multiple productions over
the years. You will learn all about development funding, what organisations you need to talk to like the BFI for cultural test
grants, other organisations that do funding opportunities, and how you account and prepare for a pipeline from producers
who will share their do's and dont's.

When an IP owner is looking at the production what do they look for when working with a studio and tapping into their pipeline.
